The first South Yorkshire open was held at Lower Eastfield, Sheffield on the 28th of April 2024. Running was on four hoggs consisting of two cheviots and two mules, which ran consistently well from start to finish. At run number 25 Richard Saxon and Don took first place with a score of 95/100. Strong challenges were made throughout the day but fell short of the mark.
